Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress born and raised in Orange County. At the age of 5 she left Morocco for California. Her breakthrough came in the year 2015. She graduated in 2015 with a a degree from University of California San Diego. Pernas began her acting career through tiny roles in NCIS and Leverage. The Young and the Restless gave Pernas the character Marisa. Following her departure from the soap opera Jane the Virgin in 2016 The actress was appointed in the role of Catalina the character that was on the show frequently. She speaks four languages. She's since been seen on The Brave with Hannah Rivera and also The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020, Pernas portrayed Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas dated Justin Hartley who was her costar in The Young and the Restless. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in the month of November. In May 2021, news came out that Pernas Hartley was recently engaged in secret.
