Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up within Orange County. The actress got her first taste of acting in the year 2015. In the same year, she graduated from the University of California San Diego. Pernas, who had made brief appearances on NCIS and Leverage before landing the part as Marisa on The Young and the Restless, was a familiar character on the soap. In the wake of her departure from soap-opera Jane the Virgin in 2016, the actress was cast in the role of Catalina, a character who was on the show frequently. The model who speaks four languages has been seen on The Brave, The Green Ghost as well as Secret Society of Second Born Royals. From 2019 to 2020, she was Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly reported in May 2020 that Pernas was in a relationship with Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. The star of the show Pernas began dating Justin Hartley shortly after she split from Chrishell Stause who she was engaged to since the end of November in 2019. News was reported in May 2021 the couple Pernas and Hartley were recently married in a secret ceremony. On a video call in which she half-bellowed/half-yelled out the opening phrase in Rock Around the Clock Bill Haley's raucous 1954 hit. Within a couple of minutes, she began to snarl the beginning of Splish Splash from Bobby Darin. She followed her words with a resounding "I love rock n' roll!"
